On August 17th, the reporter learned from the press conference of the 26th Chengdu International Automobile Exhibition that the 2023 Chengdu International Automobile Exhibition will open on August 25th in the West China International Expo City and will last until September 3rd. The theme of this year’s auto show is "Enjoy Rongcheng with wisdom and see the future", which brings together the top automotive technology and achievements in the global automobile manufacturing industry. 129 automobile brands including German, American, French, Japanese, Korean, joint venture and independent will participate in the exhibition, which will bring the world’s first show and hot-selling explosion models, with nearly 1,600 vehicles on display and an exhibition area of over 200,000 square meters.
According to the data of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, as of July this year, the production of new energy vehicles in China has exceeded 20 million, entering a new stage of large-scale and global high-quality development. As the absolute "protagonist" of this Chengdu International Auto Show, new energy auto companies will demonstrate their technology and strength: Ideality, Weilai, Tucki, Zero Run, Lantu, Gaohe, Extreme Krypton, Zhiji, Aouita, Euler, Extreme Fox, Nezha, AITO, Ai ‘an, Deep Blue, Haobo, Yuanhang and other independent brands will bring their main models to this auto show. It is worth mentioning that the rapidly rising BYD Group will bring its four brands, Tengshi, Wangwang, BYD and Equation Leopard, to this auto show for the first time in the form of a group. The highly-watched U8 will be officially listed at this auto show, and the high-end brand Equation Leopard will open the first show of the global auto show.
There are 11 exhibition halls in this year’s auto show, and a trendy car life museum will be set up to comprehensively upgrade diversified experiences such as concept, feeling, riding, driving and music. Through the forms of life guidance, scene immersion, perceptual interaction and leisure experience, the new fashion of fashion, youth and trendy culture will be spread, a new way of trendy travel life will be created, and the individual life belonging to ethnic groups in the new era will be highlighted. With the theme of "Hot AI", the 2023 China Automobile Pioneer Forum held in the same period discussed hot industry topics such as how AI empowers all fields of automobiles, how AI affects automobile marketing, and how new technologies resonate with new trends, so as to create an industry sharing and communication platform, further promote the integration of exhibition and production, and help Chengdu’s automobile industry to upgrade again.
