A few days ago, Netcom got Geely’s new SUV-Xingyue L power information. The new car will be equipped with Volvo Drive-E 2.0TD engine, which is divided into 2.0TD-T4 EVO and 2.0TD-T5. It is understood that Xingyue L is the flagship SUV model under the CMA super matrix structure jointly developed by Geely and Volvo.
In terms of power, the Drive-E 2.0TD mid-range direct injection turbocharged engine provides high and low power. The maximum power is 160kW and 175kW respectively, and the peak torque is 325N·m and 350N·m respectively, which matches Aisin 8AT gearbox. The engine is made of all-aluminum and has obvious advantages in light weight, low fuel consumption and NVH. It has been widely used in Volvo XC90, Volvo S90, Lectra 03, Lectra 03+and Lectra 05.
In terms of appearance, the iconic straight waterfall air intake grille on the front face of Xingyue L is decorated with chrome trim strips and matched with Geely black LOGO to enhance the sense of grade. In addition, the headlights and grille of the car form a very impactful front face shape, which is more domineering with the large air intakes on both sides of the bumper.
The overall profile of the new car side is very tough, and the smooth waistline runs from the headlights to the taillights, which enhances the three-dimensional sense of the whole side and contains the ultimate strength in the movement. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4770/1895/1689mm and the wheelbase is 2845 mm. At the rear of the car, Xingyue L adopts the popular penetrating taillights to stretch the width of the rear of the car visually.
In terms of interior, Xingyue L adopts a brand-new design concept and luxurious technology configuration. The overall interior uses a simple style and integrates oriental aesthetic elements. The center console adopts a double-color design, which spans the entire center console’s super-large three-screen and integrates the dashboard, the central control screen and the co-pilot entertainment screen. The central control screen and the co-pilot entertainment screen are 1 meter long, showing a full sense of technology as a whole. It is reported that Xingyue L will be equipped with Geely’s latest digital intelligent cockpit system and higher-level autonomous driving technology.
